Goldendoodles and Labradoodles have become very popular in the past few years, and there are many new Doodle breeders out there - some good, but some not. Even a puppy mill can put together a cute website, and any friend of the family can write a reference. Take care in choosing your breeder - ask questions. Although each breeding program is run differently, the breeders listed on Goldendoodles.com all share certain like-minded philosophies in running their kennel. Note the high standards our breeders share - http://www.goldendoodles.com/criteria.htm and that the listed breeders promise to test their breeding dogs for HD, and stand by their pups with money-back warranties that cover ALL levels of HD, never requiring the return of the original pup.

On our website, I only list breeders who not only promise to test their breeding dogs and treat their animals well, but also have good reputations with their clients - and that comes after they have sold pups. But there are some new breeders that I've been in contact with who sound like quality breeders. I'll pass on their information to you, so that you can contact them to decide for yourself.

The listed and newer breeders have stated that they perform the required health tests on all of their breeding dogs, but it is recommended that you ask for copies of the documentation on the parent dogs of a pup that you are considering and please let us know if you come across any difficulties obtaining proof of clearances.
