Phantom

Phantom markings in dogs are similar to a Dobermans and in Doods, originate in their Poodle lines. There are black, chocolate, apricot, red & silver phantoms.  Phantoms are born with their markings. K locus alleles determine the colouring pattern of a dog's coat.  E locus alleles determine whether an animal expresses a mask or grizzle pattern.  A locus alleles determine whether an animal expresses an agouti appearance.
