Tucker Jordan's Page


Tucker Jordan was born on May 9, 2007 at Aldrich Kennels in Massachusetts. He is now a proud member of the Richard Family, living in Rhode Island. Tucker had one female litter mate.

Tucker came to live with our family on July 3rd (our daughter's 6th birthday, what a surprise!)

It only took Tucker a few minutes and
a couple of treats to learn to sit



Tucker has been very easy to house train. He only had a couple of accidents as a young pup and they were probably our fault for not taking him out sooner.

What a handsome boy!


Tucker is good with our 15 month old son. He just doesn't know his size and sometimes knocks Devin down. Tucker has a “gentle mouth” and Devin is able to give him the treats without us worrying that he may nip him. Devin thinks Tucker is a big teddy bear. He loves to kiss and hug him. Tucker is very playful. He will grab any toy or sock in sight to get your attention. We are working on showing Tucker which are his toys and which toys belong to our children.


Tucker has always been a big boy. In this picture he is just shy of 6 months old and already weighs 62lbs! He is a gentle giant.

This is after Tucker’s 1st haircut. We were very pleased with our groomer. I’m not sure if it’s possible, but he looks even more like a Teddy Bear.

We still can’t say enough about how good Tucker is with our children. Our son has taken to hand feeding Tucker and he doesn’t mind at all.

We wanted to take a picture of the kids and Tucker for our Christmas card this year. What a task that was! Devin just wanted to play with his toys and Tucker just wanted the “cookie” my husband was using to get him to sit in front of the tree. When I showed the picture to my cousin, who’s never seen Tucker before, she asked if he was real. She thought he looked like a huge stuffed animal. She almost fell over when I told her he is only 7 months old.
